Shefali Vaidya is writer, a contributing editor at Swarajya, she also writes for propaganda and lie peddler news website opindia. She is Pune-based Hindutva propagandist, a leader in disinformation, who uses social media to spread hate against Muslims and others.
She is an active propagandist and follower of Narendra Modi’s hate ideology. At twitter she regularly spreads lies and hate. For few days Shefali is campaigning against Fabindia with hashtag #NoBindiNoBusiness saying that these companies want money from Hindus but they don’t respect Hindu culture. She makes a point by saying that Bindi is an emotion. If corporates want Hindu money, they MUST respect Hindu sentiments.

Shefali takes interest in Indian fashion and culture and regularly writes and speaks about it. Though she is lie peddler and a Hindutva hatemonger but this time her campaign #NoBindiNoBusiness is genuine ..it can be be supported on the ground that it will not be forced.

Bindi is part of sodhash shringar of Hindu women and is identity of Hindu women. Bindi is worn on forehead to awaken prajna chakhu i.e. Ajna chakra. The bindi has always been primarily used for the marital status of a woman. It is considered bad and almost a sin to not wear the bindi when and after getting married. A red dot on the forehead signifies that the woman is married, but if a woman is widowed, she would replace the red dot with a black one.
