I am not going to write a philosophical piece on Slave consciousness. I am writing it because I had tweeted about it yesterday. I am writing it as a layman, in the most simple way possible. What kind of Slave consciousness Hindus possess? It can be known by reading the mind of famous Hindu leaders active during Indian independence movement. There were two kind of people and forces working during Indian independence movement. In the first category were people of ancient regime who thought that Indians are nothing and they should not fight with empire, as Purana had propagated that the king is Bhagwan and he should only be served. Second category of people were modern, they were fed up with feudalism and priesthood and did not want the rule of Rajrajeshwar; they wanted the rule of people. They were fighting for the genuine and real freedom, not a fake one. The first category was of Hindu Babas, Priests, Swamis, Feudal lords and Hindu organizations. They were working for British Empire and opposed Indian independence movement. Hindu Mahasabha and later RSS were such Hindu organizations who opposed Indian independence movement and sided with oppressors.
The modern Swamis who had gone to the foreign to do Pravachan or Yoga business and were earning Dollars also opposed Indian independence movement. They had view that Hindu should not fight for their freedom, rather should focus on their inner freedom and salvation (Moksha). They should not think to fulfil their immediate desire outside, rather discipline their natural drive and transcend it. To a Sanatan slave, the mortification and disciplining of the body is the only way remains to obtain freedom. Such idea of liberation is expressed by Tulsidas in Ramayana (Ramcharit Manas) in the finest way possible. He wrote “कोउ नृप होई हमै का हानि, चेरी छांड़ि कि होइब रानी” “What difference it will make in my status if King changes, I am a slave for eternity. I will do better in my slavery.” I am a slave, I will do better in my slavery; is what Hindu majority thinks. It was inscribed in their consciousness in last 1500 years of Puranic regime.
Swami Vivekananda who was enjoying a good life and earning dollars in foreign, said that India is nothing in front of powerful children of Vairochana. He believed in Puranic theory that foreigners are children of Demon. Vairochana is a Puranic demon and the son of Prahalad who was a a famous Vaishnu devotee in Vaishnava Puranas. What he said exactly is very shocking and tells that the slave consciousness is not only inscribed in the Hindu masses but also in the religious rulers of Hindu masses. Even Hindu Baniya and Feudal lords were not free from it. Swami Vivekananda said that the independence movement was not a right path to freedom, right path to freedom was Shraddha and Bhakti towards powerful children of Vairochana. Hindu should show shraddha and bhakti towards them and earn sympathy. Once Hindu earns sympathy, they themselves will do everything for them. Here is a snippet from his collected work-

Similar was the approach of Hindutva leader Savarakar and later Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Vivekananda was made hero by the slave feudal ruling class of time. I doubt on his spiritual accomplishments because of his slave consciousness and I have already written about it.
