We know that 1947 midnight is declaration of India’s independence day. Jawahar Lal Nehru gave historical speech “Tryst with Destiny” to the Indian Constituent Assembly in the Parliament House, on the eve of India’s Independence. The statement was made “All of us, to whatever religion we may belong, are equally the children of India with equal rights, privileges and obligations. We cannot encourage communalism or narrow-mindedness, for no nation can be great whose people are narrow in thought or in action.”

Now, let us see what cosmic forces were working at that very moment of the day. Samvatsar was Sharvari (auspicious), Month was Shravan (Purusottam adhik maas very auspicious), Day was Friday (Auspicious) ruled by Venus, Tithi was Krishna chaturdashi (not auspicious but great Vedic acharyas have clearly said that when Lagan is strong there is no dosh) . In Ascendant Taurus was rising with Rohini ruled by Moon, lagan is very strong. In fact Moon is sole depositor of all planets hence Moon is the ruler of the chart and it is in very auspicious Pushya Nakshtra. All planets are in Dakshinayan hence Ayan is also absolutely ruled by Moon. Moon is maternal and matru-premi hence we also see the rise of the feminine in Congress regime. In fact Yogakaraka Saturn too is Matru-Premi And in Ascendant exalted Rahu in Venus sign is also feminine . Sri Krishna was born from Moon(चन्द्रस्य यदुनायकः) in lunar dynasty of Yadus and Krishna was also Matru-premi. Lagan lord Venus and lord of Rohini both are watery and are of white color, which manifests in White dress of Congress party. Jawahar Lal Nehru’s lagan is Cancer whose lord is Moon and it is in Nakshatra of Mercury who is 5th lord in Taurus ascendant. India’s destiny thus was directly connected with Nehru’s Lagan. Congress party’s first election symbol was pair of Bull which symbolizes Taurus.

The lard of Lagan Venus is in perfect conjunction with Yoga Karaka Saturn in 3rd house in the star of Mercury which makes Birth chart very strong. Mercury is reason hence India took a rational and scientific approach. Mercury is lord of 5th and Saturn have nakshatra exchange hence both are deeply connected therefore reason is not dry reason, it is philosophical and spiritual at the same time, as Saturn is lord of the most auspicious 9th house of India’s Birth chart. Mercury is planet of philosophy which is one of major ruling planet in India’s chart therefore in Congress regime we see it manifesting. Since 9th lord and 5th lord both are in 3rd house hence we see high research work, high culture and Modernism during Congress regime. Venus is also conjunct with Sun within 5 degree orb, in Vedic astrology conjunction is regarded up to 5 degree. India’s Tryst with Destiny began with Shani mahadsha, Saturn is ruler of Dalit-ST classes, We saw the rise of Dalits in Congress regime. The great B.R. Ambedkar was made the chairman of the Drafting Committee of Constituent Assembly of India to formulate and write Constitution of India . He was a Buddhist and a great scholar. Buddhists are ruled by Mercury and Rahu both. Under the leadership of Nehru and Ambedkar, The Constitution of India’ was passed and adopted by the assembly in Saturn-Mercury period. In 1950 in Saturn-Mercury period Indian Constitution commits to reservations for Scheduled Castes and Tribes. Nutan born with Virgo ascendant in which Venus-Mercury are yogakaraka . These legendry actresses were very progressive , they produced great classic work of art and were very much attached to Soil. As I have written that desh-kal is another strong element in astrology as for as destiny is concerned. At certain point of time planets operate at cosmic plane and mark its imprint on human psyche. Jawahar Lal Nehru died at the end of India’s Saturn Mahadsha on 27 May 1964 and Lal Bahadur Shastri took over the command to lead India forward.
