Among five outer planets, three planets Pluto, Neptune and Uranus are the most outer and considered to be very dark planets. These planets are named after Greek mythic gods and hence command respect among western astronomers and astrologers. These planets do not emit light, even at its brightest, among these outer planets Pluto is not visible to the naked eye and is about 27 million times fainter than Venus.

Pluto is 5.9 billion km away from sun and considered dwarf 9th planet.  In western astrology Pluto (Pluto symbol (fixed width).svg) is the ruling planet of Scorpio and is exalted in Aquarius.  Pluto takes 248 years to make a full circuit of the zodiac, but its progress is variable, sometimes it takes 246-249 years. It spends between 15 and 26 years in each zodiac sign.  Neptune too is very far away, it is more than 4.5 billion km away from the Sun. Neptune is not visible to naked eyes. In western astrology Neptune (Neptune symbol (fixed width).svg) is the modern ruling planet of Pisces and is exalted in Leo. Neptune takes 165 years to orbit the Sun, spending approximately 14 years (13.75) in each sign of the zodiac . According to Nasa “Neptune is one of two ice giants in the outer solar system (the other is Uranus). Most (80% or more) of the planet’s mass is made up of a hot dense fluid of “icy” materials – water, methane, and ammonia – above a small, rocky core. Of the giant planets, Neptune is the densest.” In Roman mythology, Neptune was the god of the sea and associated with cosmic waters. Uranus is also not much visible however can be seen under very dark skies and ideal conditions. Uranus is slightly visible in late October or early November. Uranus takes 84 years to orbit the Sun, spending about seven years in each sign of the zodiac. In Modern western astrology Uranus (Uranus symbol (fixed width).svg) is the ruling planet of Aquarius and is exalted in Scorpio.

Vedic astrology is a science of light hence it is called jyotish, planets and stars whose light do not affect beings of earth are not considered in predictions. Even fixed stars which are far away from ecliptic are not considered in our astrology, even though these stars are thousand times illumined than many of stars considered in nakshatra-chakra. Stars of Ursa minor and Major are bright stars but these are not counted in moon’s mansion of 27 stars. Vega (Abhijit) which was once considered a nakshatra in prediction was left in BC 5000 because it falls below the ascertained degree of ecliptic.

In western astrology dark planets are considered to be important planets and lot of mythologization and astrological speculation is being made around it. Regarding its significations they are unclear but all the transit of these three outer planets are said to bring about big changes in life on earth. As for example western astrologers believe that Uranus is antithetical to Saturn and their cycle of conjunction brings about new inventions and innovative technologies and harness them in productive and lasting ways within society. Uranus is revolutionary planet like Rahu, both own Aquarius.  Since these outer planets are also part Sun’s planetary system therefore it can’t be denied that their conjunction with other planets in 12 signs may not have positive and negative effects on our planet earth.

In 2020 during Covid-19 outbreak Uranus and Neptune formed conjunction with  Mars, Venus and mercury. What their conjunction unleashed ? Neptune is the psychic planet, it is a planet of ideals, intuition, spirituality and compassion, the domain of dreams and delusions. In 2019-20 during Covid-19 all planets formed conjunction with Pluto in Sagittarius also and there was death on mass scale. In its mythological image Pluto holds trident in his hand. Was it the work of Pluto? Pluto is known as the planet of “death and rebirth”. In March 2019 Ketu was conjunct with Pluto (they were just 1 degree apart) and Saturn was also conjunct with Pluto (just 3 degree apart).  In Indian astrology death is work of Saturn and mass scale destruction is work of Ketu (Mangalwat Ketu i.e Ketu is like Mars, in Sagittarius it is fiery). In Covid-19 we saw death and burial on mass scale. According Vedic astrology Saturn presides over the death and burial. None of the three aforesaid outer planets are fiery. It is work of Saturn-Ketu, Jupiter-Ketu and both planets formed conjunction with Ketu in fiery sign of Sagittarius, but Saturn-Ketu, Saturn-Jupiter conjunction in Uttrashadha a fiery nakshatra of Sun made these planets killer. In july 2019 during Covid-19 outbreak Saturn-Ketu-Pluto were conjunct in Sagittarius in Uttrashadha nakshatra.

In western astrology Pluto is darkest planet, it symbolizes regeneration, transformation rebirth and death, kidnapping, waste, virus, coercion, destruction and obsession are associated with it. Plato is also a killer.  According to Western Astrologers what happened to Germany during Third Reich under Nazi regime was the work of Pluto because repression, obsession, violence and limit is its significations.

No astrologer had predicted it.
