You just hold the tail of a cow and you will cross the celestial river Baitarini or Vaitarini described in Garun Puran. This river is imagined by sky watcher Hindu Baba and Swamis. The celestial river Eridanus starts near Aries as Yam nakshatra Bharni falls in it. The river Eridanus is a great void in sky, it has very less stars, large portion of it is a dark hell. A man with good eye sight can easily see it.
When you see 14 degree Aries Sidereal from the Tropical Zodiac it would be near about 8 degree Taurus which is adjacent constellation of Eridanus.. It also looks as if starting near Orion. According to modern Astronomy its southern end is the magnitude 0.5 star Achernar, designated Alpha Eridani. It is a blue-white hued main sequence star 144 light-years from Earth, whose traditional name means “the river’s end”

The Baitarani (also spelled Vaitarani) is one of six major rivers of Odisha, India. In Odisha also people say “he who bathes in it and gives alms will always be free from torments inflicted by Yama.” The Garuda Purana says that the Vaitarani extends for over a hundred yojanas. It is filled with water and blood, and abounds with vultures and fish. The Yama’s servants of the river Eridanus ferry travelers across the river for a fee that can be nominal Rs-501 to 5001 plus a Cow. Offering a cow that a deceased individual is gifted during his time of death, called the Vaitarani cow, allows him to be rowed across the river.
