Shri Shri Ravishankar is imparting some astrology knowledge to his rich chelas in this video. He calculates the mystical number 108 by considering a nakshatra of 9 degree length while the length of a nakshatra is 13 degree 20 minute. A nakshatra of 9 degree length will not form a constellation which has 30 degree length. There are 2 star of 13:20 and a quarter of star in a constellation which would be 13:20+13.20+3:20 =30 degree. Now his calculation of 108 is wrong because it is not calculated by full degree of star rather by 3:20 degree of a star which is called navansha or charan or pada. There are 9 pada or navansha in a constellation therefore in 12 constellations it would be 9X12=108 .
